Have questions about chimney sweeping services?

Does my chimney need sweeping?

HETAS advises having your chimney swept at least annually, and in some instances, twice a year may be necessary. If we think your chimney requires more frequent sweeping, we will inform you; however, in most cases, once a year is adequate.

How long will the chimney sweeping take?

A standard chimney sweep usually takes about 45 minutes. We allocate one hour for each chimney to account for any potential issues that may arise.

Will there be a mess after the chimney sweeping?

You won't be left with a mess, as our sweep will use sheets to protect the floor and bring the necessary cleaning equipment. If you want additional peace of mind, especially if you have a light-colored sofa or similar furnishings near the fireplace, you may choose to cover them before our arrival.
